According to "The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks: Hecho en Mexico" by Bille Hougart, Pedro Castillo used eagle numbers 1, 2 and 3. "Pedro Castillo worked for William Spratling at Taller de Las Delicias in the 1930's and was with Hector Aguilar at Taller Borda beginning about 1939. At some point he also designed jewelry for Rafael Melendez. His work is usually numbered. Castillo started his own taller in the 1940s. Pedro Castillo is also recognized for his flatware designs, some of which was sold through Rancho Alegre." IP: Logged
