Hello, Looking to ID a maker in a Italian ring I own.Its late 30s / early 40s. In band it has 800 in an oval. Also a lozenge, left to right - the number 292, then a fascio, then its very worn and can't make out provence initials..Who could the maker [292] be?? It also has on a arch,,3 letters or maybe the numbers 400, then a dot [.] ,then 'Depositato' and underneath, 'No.',then a 5 digit number I can't make out..any help appreciated, thanks , G. O.K.,,,,any member have a link to a site that could help ID the maker on this lozenge to my 30s-40s Italian ring?: Left to right-, 292,, then Fascio,, then would be the initials of the area, but its too worn..Thanks, G. [This message has been edited by Gaspare (edited 03-12-2007).] IP: Logged |

By using the search function on these forums you could have found the information for Italian registry numbers, originally provided by member Blakstone. Your ring dates from 1935-1944, but you'll need the province letters to search the Italian database Portale dell'Oreficeria. Hopes this helps. IP: Logged |

Thanks for the response Kayvee. Tried a search but was searching for the wrong thing.. Unfortunatly the number in the RIGHT of the lozenge is too worn to make out..I had thought the number in the LEFT of the lozenge [292] would somehow tell me the maker.. IP: Logged |
