If you're accepting guesses, how about the fifties. Even for someone with genuine expertise, pictures would be ideal. IP: Logged |

Thanks Bascall.. I was sent a photo but it was terrible,,and the best they could do.. A silver art deco mans ring.. I've only seen pieces marked with the TF and never the whole name spelled out in capitals like this one was.. Thought it might ring a bell with someone.. Good guess though! , thanks again..,G. I suspect Bascall is correct in his guess of the fifties. I also suspect it is marked 925 for sterling and perhaps even the TF logo. Fred IP: Logged |

Hi, I have handled and own a lot of Fahrner jewelry. I've seen at least one piece of 1920/30s deco jewelry with just the FAHRNER mark and no TF. I may even have a piece in my collection - I'll have to look. I know I have some pieces that have the FAHRNER mark, but I can't remember if there was also a TF or not. I would guess 1930s for period if it is deco styled, especially with the 935 mark instead of 925. The 1950s Fahrner jewelry that I've seen has all been gold washed, sometimes with enamel, and similar to their 1940s pieces. If I come up with anything more definitive I will edit this post. rat [This message has been edited by rat (edited 02-04-2010).] IP: Logged |

I let the piece go because of conflicting information I was getting from other sources. Well being you seem to be sure of the time period of your pieces, and have some in your collection only marked FAHRNER, thats good enough for me.. IP: Logged |
