Silver Lyon Posts: 363 Registered: Oct 2004	posted 07-16-2006 02:22 PM According to 'The Makers of Indian Colonial Silver' by Wynyard Wilkinson p.118-119 your mug is made by LOWE & Co. of Mount Road, Madras, India 1843-1870. The end of the mark is actually a small o (the o of Co. for Company) with a line beneath it and two dots beneath the line. He illustrates a childs' mug with very similar chasing.
