Hello all, Here is a puzzling pair of sugar nips. They have all the patina of age, but are clearly plated silver over a very white base metal. There are no marks at all. The most interesting aspect is the decorative "hubcaps", which look a a lot like mid-Victorian jewelry. Still, sugar nips like these were passe by the mid 1800s. Any ideas as to the age and origin of this piece would be welcome. Brent IP: Logged |

Hi - my guess would be Denmark - the "grip"-part looks similar.
