Maybe I'm mis understandind my Tardys. Concerning the Polish mark: Is this only a Watch case and Silverware mark? Or could it have been put on a silver ring? or other jewelry? What type of Polish mark would have been on jewelry of the 1920s - 30s? [This message has been edited by Gaspare (edited 07-07-2011).] IP: Logged |

What you describe sounds like the 1920 to 1947 mark for Polish silver that is eight hundred parts out of a thousand pure. [This message has been edited by bascall (edited 07-06-2011).] IP: Logged |

Hi - the mentioned mark was for all objects made in silver. For jewelry only if they were made in silver. Gold or platinum had different marks - therefore the name "silvermarks" :-) Regards IP: Logged |
