Italian silver dog Could somebody please help in identifying a silver item that I have? It is a figure of a English setter type dog sitting down. Marked 925 with other numbers that I can't make out it also has the name Magrino though not too sure about last letter and says made in Italy on the bottom. The detail is very fine and would describe it as a sculpture and is approx 15 cms high. Any help would be appreciated. IP: Logged |

Could be by Alessandro Magrino, apparently an older contemporary silversmith. "Inventiveness, grace in the manufacture and remarkable capacity of original presentation are the adjectives which describe best the design of Alessandro Magrino, who since years designs and manufactures silvers of an unquestionable innovative taste" is all I can find on him.
