Here's a bizarre one. I bought a small mustard spoon in the Netherlands from a dealer, who said it was Belgian. It has a diamond topped by a circle registration mark with a capital R and smaller capital D. According to Silvermine, this system was used in Britain from 1842-43 to register all kinds of patents, but I have never seen it on silver. I cannot find year, month or day letters/numbers, and the piece contains no identifiable British town hallmark. It does have WP in a diamond, beneath which is a capital B in shield on its side, beneath which is a symbol that looks like three tulips or other flowers, and finally the diamond with the RD in it.

Any ideas?
