[01-1534] I recently have received an antique sterling coffee and tea service. I was told it was American 1890-1900 the first mark is a half moon, second looks like a 3 leaf clover or crown, and 3rd looks like a funky h over w. The rest is marked 925 sterling. I have a clear picture of the hallmark and service(except coffee pot) attached for anyone interested in helping me. I can not find this hallmark anywhere on the web. Your help would help me to determine if the sugar bowl is missing a lid or never had one to begin with. Thanks a million. Pete IP: Logged |

The moon and crown are from Germany. I don't recognise the maker's mark, but I suspect it is considerably later than your timeframe. Nice set though! IP: Logged |
