[01-2343] Can anyone please tell me anything about this baby's feeding spoon? It has oriental characters as well as a western monogram - so presumably export. Very many thanks! IP: Logged |

Hi there Patrick, Neat spoon. Not export, Probably purchased by a westerner who visited or who lived there in the orient. I have had boxed sets made in the 1950's consisting of a baby spoon, fork, napkin ring and baby cup, all with oriental marks. Someone else should be able to tell you the country. Hope this helps.. Thanks very much, Marc, I showed the characters to a Chinese colleague who translated them, top to bottom as: SILVER But the what and where and when of this workshop still eludes me! IP: Logged |
