[01-2736] I've had a few things that I have questions about sitting on a shelf since my bar mitzvah. If my Mavica can overcome its increasingly frequent bouts of Alzheimer I will post photos of them in the next few weeks. In an interval of rare digital coherence my camera was able to take these pictures. Anybody know? IP: Logged |

I don't know if there is anything in this link that is identical to your item, but there might be something that is relevant. IP: Logged |

It's the silverplate mark of the very fine French firm of Orfèvrerie d'Ercuis, suppliers to the Art Deco luxury liners "Ile de France" and "Normandie". Very nice! IP: Logged |

blakstone, Thank you. I did not know the maker, but you confirmed my suspicions that it was French silverplate. From the look I believe that it's probably late 1800's to early 1900's. IP: Logged |

Those are the marks for the famous firm of Mazel Tov. (Kidding. Nevertheless, mazel tov! Though I may be a year or or two late.) IP: Logged |

Mazel Tov . . . weren't they the successors to Abi Gezunt? IP: Logged |
