A silver manufacturer in Japan. I've seen pieces which look 1960s or 70s, and the company may still be going. IP: Logged |

Has anyone heard anymore about this maker? I am starting to see copies of popular flatware patterns made by this company and am wondering how they are allowed to continue. Robert IP: Logged |

I don’t know much other than I occasionally see the marks:
I have heard Miyata silver has been around since the 1960's. Most often in holloware to compliment existing US pattern flatware. At some point they apparently started “complimenting” the flatware patterns also. I have never handle anything Miyata nor do I know anything about the company (i.e., location, years, still in business?, etc). Other posts that mention Miyata: IP: Logged |
