[26-2515] Does anyone have a German pattern book, circa 1900? After collecting several pieces of this pattern by Wilkens & Sohne, it would be nice to give it a name other than just 'Crocus'.

I can't help, but I do love those crocuses--perfect time of year for them! IP: Logged |

The serving pieces are large with exquisitely detailed engraving. This is the business end of a gold washed, raised edge patty server. Not sure Wilkens called it that but ......

According to the Deutsches Klingenmuseum of Solingen, this pattern designed by Heinrich Vogeler was produced from or about 1902, as model no. 138. Pattern name was Herbstzeitlosen-Muster, or as Google translate puts it, "Late bloomers" pattern. IP: Logged |
