[13-1311] Bought 5 small spoons with bowls that appear to have gold wash and can't determine who made them. Looks like a fancy R in a square followed by a lion. Would anybody know this maker is and possibly the pattern? 4" & 6 grams. Tks

I saw their mark before posting this and thought that because this has the 925, R and lion each within a box (and theirs doesn't) -- it might be someone else. I can't explain the stamped markings but the spoon looks to be Durgin's Madam Royale pattern from what I can see in the photo. By any chance is there a 'D' at the base of the handle or are the markings shown everything? IP: Logged |

Maybe the Canadian company had a license to make that pattern or simply was a retailer. In those days the US and Canada did lots of business together. IP: Logged |
