Concerning German maker marks and content marks.. There was the 1886 law about hallmarking.. But I've been told a few times that during the time period of 1920 to the late 1940s that. 1 small items were exempt from the law. Does anyone have any knowledge of this or documentation about this? Does the 1886 law state that small items did not have to be hallmarked? IP: Logged |
