Is it possible for a lock smith or silver smith to make a key for a late English Victorian tantalus lock? This key has gone missing. The piece itself is gorgeous burlwood with all silver findings, by Betjemann- the inventer of the tantalus. I hate to pass it up, but will if it can't be used (unlocked). Any help is appreciated. Cheers. IP: Logged |

Is it possible to see a picture of the lock? I am a locksmith and all locks can a have a key made for them...... it's just a matter of cost. It also takes dis-assembly of the lock at times...... that could be a bit damaging. A picture would help. Mark IP: Logged |
