[01-0571] Second piece is a small covered box covered with well-done engraving. It has London 1878 hallmarks and an "F" in a circle for foreign silver. Does anybody know just where it came from, or who made it? IP: Logged |

Hi Paul, Great piece; I almost bid on it myself, but didn't for some reason. I think it is Japanese. The form, the finial and the decoration are all very Japanese in style. If it isn't actually Japanese then it is a very good imitation. Brent Brent IP: Logged |
