The script G was also used in 1907 and this would fit with one of 2 Birmingham silversmiths who sent their silver to Chester for assay - H Matthews (H M in separate rectangular boxes) or H Moreton (H M in separate diamond or lozenge shapes). The vase stands about 12 inches, has a scalloped top and embossed leafing on it could anyone put a estmated value on it for insurance purpose, it would be a great help, thankyou again IP: Logged
