I recently acquired a set of 6 Queen's pattern teaspoons, made by two different makers. Both are marked for Edinborough, with the first maker's mark being TC (in rectangel)and dated 1842. The second maker's mark is L&S (in lozenge) and is dated 1847. Any help on the makers would be appreciated. IP: Logged |

Hi Doc, Not sure if this will be of any help to you, but Jackson's does have a TC (rectangle) for Thomas Chapman, a Goldsmith in Glasgow, for the period 1848-1903, with the proviso that "the date when each mark was first used is not recorded"... Rgds, Tom IP: Logged |
