[26-0518] I am trying to identify makers and marks on the rim of a mustard
The inside of the rim is stamped with the top 3 marks, the 4 initials A LION PASSANT and a capital H in a 3 pointed shield The 2nd row of marks are on the outside of the rim, JC LION PASS LEOPARDS HEAD capital H in 3 point shield and a young looking QUEENS HEAD facing left Any help identifying makers year etc would be appreciated thanks IP: Logged |

I have a couple weeks yet until my reference book arrives to help with the maker, but from net resources I gather this was assayed as sterling (Lion passant) in London (Leopard's head), 1883/4 (H mark), and duty was paid (Queen's head).
