[26-0187] I am trying to find out the pattern name for this Garrard & Co. London flatware.I think it was made in 1982 as it has a very stylized g as a date mark. Is that right? Can anyone help? Hope the picture shows!

This pattern, going by the small sample of it, appears to be "Lily". It may not be known as that under the 20thC Garrard banner, but was a naturalistic form manufactured by Elkington in England from around the 1850s. Note that the hallmark shown is for Sheffield, c1976, with the (then recently introduced) town mark of the Tudor rose, which replaced the former crown mark. IP: Logged |
