Hi everyone. Can anyone direct me to an online site where I can actually SEE the hallmarks for early 19th century British silversmiths? I have a berry spoon I can't identify and all I know is that the initials are IH - I've narrowed it down to John Hutson, or Harris, or Joseph Hardy, but I need to see the hallmark. Thanks! How about posting a picture of YOUR marks here? - I am sure that one of the memebrs will be able to accurately identify the maker for you (maybe even post a similar set of marks with the same maker's initials inorder to put your mind at rest!). IP: Logged |
