I have five spoons all made in London. I was interested to know the makers. I was interested to also know the pattern, especially the three spoons on the right.
The spoons are from left to right: Maker mark: MS
Maker mark: TD
Makers mark: WE
Makers mark: ?? DF (in separate rows)
Makers mark: W.C (could it be W.Cawner?)

The 3 spoons on the right are Old English, as is the one on the left. The other pattern is called fiddle here in the UK, but I believe that in the US there is a similar one called Old English Tipt. The makers are: MS - Mary Sumner Phil IP: Logged |

Thanks, I am very grateful and amazed that you Phil had the knowledge so fast and for all of them at once. Thanks also for salmoned for correcting the year, didn't think about the missing duty mark. Regards, IP: Logged |
