[26-1005] Hi, I bought a nice set of Victorian sterling salt cellars and have been able to decode all of the marks, except the makers mark (EFHT in a shield). Here's a closeup picture of the makers mark (all the marks actually):

Edgar Finley & Hugh Taylor, trading as Horace Woodward & Co. This was a Birmingham company and the EF over HT mark is also seen on Birmingham assayed silver. Phil IP: Logged |
