Can someone please tell me what the markings on this martini shaker, or at least what we think it is mean? It was made in England.

After reading the page you listed I'm interested to learn more, like when would the piece have been made?

The marks look a little more modern then the one on the silver serving platter, though the emblem is definitely the same.

The letters underneath look like EPNS where the E and P have been altered after the fact to look more like an S and R. The makers mark also does not look like it matches the letters underneath in either style or wear which makes me wonder whether it is original to the shaker. EPNS is the standard marking for electro-plated nickle silver - silver plating over a nickle/copper alloy.

Usually martini shakers date from the 20's on wards, with production concentrated in the 1920 to 1950 era. Sometimes we can date silver by what it is used for. Old cook books and entertaining guides are a good resource.
