Yes I am , now how does a small city boy get known for being a commisioner on the NET??? as well I apologize if I'm, not connecting the name and face this early in the morning... also my desire in posting is to try to find out references and sources to learn the history and values of works of silver.

Thanks Cam

Now that that is settled, what are you trying to discover (valuation aside)?

William Burwash worked in London in partnership with Richard Sibley (their mark entered in 1805) and alone (his single mark entered in 1813).

I have not heard of Abel Brokesby. Is he English as well?

And if you mean Thomas Arnold of Newport RI, you can find basic information here

Abel Brokesby was a London plate worker at St Anne's Lane from 1727 to 1730.

Websites which offer free information are not an appropriate usage for valuation questions. Members will gladly assist anyway they can to assist in identifying answers to nonmonetary questions.
