ahwt Posts: 2377 Registered: Mar 2003	posted 06-16-2018 10:17 PM Last of the thrift store finds is this glass basket with a sterling silver handle from England. My wife collects old glass and it really is unusual to find one that uses a silver handle as part of the finished object. PhilO Posts: 166 Registered: Jul 2004	posted 06-17-2018 02:01 AM This is not actually English - nor even British. The six-sided lion shows that it is Dutch and .833 standard silver. The date letter (on the right in the picture) is J for 1893. Phil IP: Logged
