I came across these Trefid spoons and would like to find out if they are real or meant to deceive. I do not own them but have permission to post pics. I have never seen examples engraved or designed like this before and am not even sure they are English. They lack a few markings, and one of the makers marks has a grainy background that raises questions on authenticity. Wonder if anyone could share their assessment and opinion about them - or maybe know exactly what they are. Tks.

Would the technical term for these be "Flame Back" spoons ? IP: Logged |

The decoration looks more like foliage or leaves than flames to me. Wherever these spoons came from they are attractive. IP: Logged |
