My one set of jewelry by Mazer, the company Marcel Boucher worked for before starting his own firm, is a set of two turtle pins and matching earrings. Like Boucher, Mazer did not patent many of its designs, and those they did patent were before or after the WW II era work. This set is signed sterling, but does not carry the Mazer mark. However, I have seen identical pieces several times with the Mazer mark, so I have no doubt these pieces were made by the Mazer company. The pink and purple stones on this set are also set with open backs as is seen so often in jewelry of this period.
